PSG didn’t find an opponent in the fifth round of Ligue 1. After less than five rounds, it is now at the top of the competition along with Lens and Olympique Marseille. Lionel Messi, who contributed two assists to the win over Toulouse, has a big part in this.

Ligue 1 is looking interesting. Three teams have the same number of points. Unsurprisingly, PSG, the biggest team in the French league in recent years, is among them. Even this season they are expected to go for the title.

And so far, it looks like it might work out. Lionel Messi and Neymar are playing in great form, and Kylian Mbappé is also starting to play, who in the first few games looked not only unconvincing but also rather unhappy.

And it was the star trio that also drove Wednesday’s 3-0 win over Toulouse. Neymar and Mbappé scored one goal each, while Messi was content with the role of a passer and assisted both goals.
