Cristiano Ronaldo may have wanted to play in the Champions League, but it seems he will have no choice but to stay at Manchester United. Napoli are now also keeping their hands off the legendary Portuguese.
An undignified situation for one of the best footballers in history. Cristiano Ronaldo is apparently trying to leave Manchester United to play in the Champions League, but nobody is interested in him.
Officially, clubs like Bayern Munich, PSG, Olympique Marseille have put their hands off him. The Real Madrid boss has not been very favourable to his return, the Sporting Lisbon coach for a change said he would leave if Ronaldo were to come.
In recent days, the most talked about was Napoli. According to the media, there was even talk of a swap, according to which Ronaldo would head to Italy and Victor Osimhen would go in the opposite direction. But it’s a passé.
Although the sporting director of Napoli, Cristiano Giuntoli, admitted that the Italian club has a great relationship with the agent Jorge Mendes, the arrival of Ronaldo, according to him, will not happen.
“Cristiano is an extraordinary player, but there is not a grain of truth in his arrival. We have read many things in the newspapers, we have an excellent relationship with his agent, but nothing concrete has ever happened,” Sky Italia quotes him as saying.
Ronaldo has appeared in four games this season, only making one appearance in the starting line-up, and so far has not scored a single goal.
