Tottenham under coach Conte is experiencing a very difficult preparation. Right-back Djed Spence will also join the team at this stage of the season. The transfer is taking place on a move from League Two side Middlesbrough.
Until now, the not very well-known right-footed footballer, originally from England, made 42 appearances in the English Championship League last season, in the Nottingham jersey. Djed scored 2 goals and 4 assists in this portion of games, which is not a bad result at all for a right-back.
The twenty-one-year-old footballer made his way into professional men’s football in the 2019/2020 season, when he started playing for the aforementioned Middlesbrough. It was from that engagement that he went on loan to Nottingham Forest, whom he helped to return to the famous Premier League.
The player stands out on the pitch especially in good dribbling. He is 184 centimetres tall and does not miss a single match. His strengths further include a quality centre and speed runs in behind the defence. In short, he is a young and modern defender.
Tottenham announced the player on their website. Here they also mention that the player has a contract until 2027. Thus, it is a long-term contract that the young footballer will want to take advantage of.
This is the multiple reinforcement of the London club. Apparently, the team wants to show that it takes the fight for the top 4 absolutely seriously and wants to be a competitive opponent further down the line. Other reinforcements that Spurs have signed include Clément Lenglet, Yves Bissouma, Richarlison and Ivan Perisic.
