Robert Lewandowski has reportedly received permission from Bayern to move to Barcelona. The Polish striker admitted in an interview that he said goodbye to everyone at the club today.
Polish striker Robert Lewandowski had his last training session at Bayern today. It was very demanding for him, but this time not because of the physical strain, but because of the mental strain.
Today he said goodbye to all his teammates. Then he completed the training unit and gave Bayern a final farewell.
“Today I said goodbye to everyone on the pitch. Those eight years were special and I will never forget them,” he said in an interview with Torben Hoffman.
Lewandowski plans to fly back to Barcelona for a short time after completing all his duties. “I will come back and say hello to all the staff at the club. I had a great time in Munich,” the Polish striker did not spare any praise.
Robert Lewandowski has incredible numbers at Bayern Munich. He has scored 344 goals in 375 games. He also managed to win the Champions League title with the club.
Now he will be expanding his numbers in his new job. With Barcelona in need of an effective striker after the departure of Suárez, Lewandowski should finally be a suitable replacement.
