Tottenham are back in the Champions League and would love to finally break their bad luck and win a trophy. To do that, however, he needs to step up a lot and he has done that. Brazilian Richarlison comes in from Everton.
He is proven by the league, he has already played 5 seasons in the Premier League. He is productive, last year he accumulated a record of 10+5 and added six goals for the Brazil national team in the qualifiers, in his first two seasons at Everton he scored 13 goals each time. Plus, he’s the perfect age (25). Richarlison seems to be the right signing for Tottenham.
The Brazilian striker has outgrown Everton and it was time to make the next move. Especially as the Toffees fought to the last round for relegation last season. The Nova Venécia native certainly doesn’t belong in those floors.
So it was only a matter of where he would head. And a move to Tottenham looks great all round. Spurs need a significant reinforcement in attack like salt, the attacking duo Son-Kane got a great partner in Dejan Kulusevski in the spring, but this trio has no equivalent replacement.
Neither Lucas Moura nor Steven Bergwijn have convinced much so far, so the arrival of Richarlison will further strengthen Antonio Conte’s squad.
According to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, the first part of the deal has already been signed and Richarlison will soon become a Tottenham player. The team from north London will send £50 million to Everton, the Liverpool outfit will also receive other bonuses.
the 25-year-old striker is currently on his way for medical tests in Brazil, after which the transfer should become official.
