There it is again. The summer is in full swing and with it the transfer season, which includes speculation. And once again, the star Brazilian Neymar, who is believed to be on his way out of PSG, is also part of the speculation. His compatriot Joelinton is tempting him and inviting him to Newcastle.
Neymar is coming off another season at PSG, during which he did manage to win the title with his team, but he still hasn’t achieved the successes and milestones he came to France for.
From the moment he arrived in Paris, he was supposed to be the one to drag PSG into a new era of great success with the goal of winning the Champions League. But the Brazilian is often the target of speculation, with much talk about his lifestyle and approach to training. And on top of that, there is always talk of his departure.
Until recently, he was regularly linked with a return to Barcelona, but transfers to other addresses were also discussed. And now they are being discussed again. This time, Newcastle United, currently the richest club on the planet, is being linked with Neymar.
Now, moreover, Neymar has received an interesting invitation from his compatriot, who is already based in the north of England. Joelinton came to the club as the most expensive reinforcement in history, he was supposed to elevate the attack, but in the end he developed into an excellent midfielder who is adorned with great combativeness and perfect technique.
And he would happily fight for Neymar too, should he actually visit the bowels of the famous St. James’ Park. “We can definitely make room for him. He can play in any team in the world. If he came… I can’t describe it. He’s an idol, he’s a giant of world football, an invitation here is a no-brainer,” Joelinton expressed on the Cast FC podcast.
“Ney, if you’re listening, you can come. I’ll keep running and fighting for you. The number 10 jersey is waiting for you,” Joelinton added.
However, it’s worth noting that the number 10 on the jersey is worn by Allan Saint-Maximin, who might not want to give up his favourite number for nothing.
