Viktor Pešta fell in his second PFL game and his season is over. The championship belt and the million dollars he won will have to forfeit. The former Octagon champion has now sent a message to his fans.
Viktor Peshta didn’t wrestle much in the American PFL organization. He fell in the first round in both his fights and this season ended really early for him.
The Czech fighter, who was finished on a hard KO in the first fight, has now spoken to his fans and explained why he went into the fight so early.
“This is unfortunately the end of this season in the PFL for me. I’m hearing from all sides that I came back too soon and that I should have allowed myself more time to recover. Maybe. It wasn’t an easy choice for me either, but going into the game was the only way for me to stay in the tournament.
I was aware of the risk and decided to go for it anyway. Unfortunately, it turned out the way it did. I don’t know what’s next, but I’ll definitely take some time off now. Thank you to everyone who supports me,” he wrote on his Instagram.
So now the question is what’s next. Pest has several options, from foreign to Czech ones, where only two organizations are possible, namely Oktagon and RFA.
Also due to finances, the RFA is more likely, which Pešta was talking to before coming to the PFL, but the foreign route is even more realistic.
