Jake Paul will face the professional boxer in August

6. august sees American youtuber Jake Paul’s next boxing match at Madison Square Garden. After often being criticized for choosing washed-up MMA stars as opponents, he has finally stepped up. His opponent will be a professional boxer.

That’s none other than the brother of the famous Tyson Fury, who recently hung up his boxing gloves undefeated. Tommy Fury is certainly no pushover. Like his more famous sibling, he remains undefeated in professional boxing with an 8-0 record.

Tyson Fury and Jake Paul are certainly not slacking off and are promoting the fight by teasing each other on social media. The feud started after Tyson Fury was said to have bet $100,000 on his younger brother to win.

Tyson Fury bet $1 million on his brother Tommy

Throwing down the gauntlet, the young YouTube star immediately caught on and tried to increase the value of the money he bet. “Hey Tyson, you made $40 million, not as much as me, but let’s go up , Paul tweeted.

It didn’t take long for Fury to respond and accept the challenge, but he also mentioned that he wanted some guarantees from Paul to make the bet official. This is because, following the latest rumors that Jake Paul lost all his money investing in cryptocurrencies, Fury doesn’t believe that Paul has the funds in question.

“Hey Jakey Boy, I heard you want a bet bigger than $100,000, ” said Fury on his social media .

“And hey Jake, I want to see that million dollars because I don’t think you got it,” he confirmed the terms of the deal. “I’m not talking about cryptocurrencies, I’m talking about real American dollars, ” Fury concluded the challenge.

But the much-maligned fight is certainly gaining momentum, and the bet is sure to fulfill its marketing purpose. Ondřej Novotný, the promoter of the biggest Czechoslovak MMA organization Oktagon, also commented on the Jake Paul fight.

“Dude, we probably wouldn’t have a good morning for work,” he reacted to Jake Paul’s possible next victory in his youtube podcast MMA Flight Around the World.
