The Bayer Leverkusen striker became the most expensive Czech footballer after the update, surpassing Tomas Soucek, but also the Polish sniper Robert Lewandowski.
And how much does Patrik Schick cost? Realistically, it’s hard to estimate. In the event of a transfer, Bayer Leverkusen could dictate an even higher sum for the second top scorer of the last Bundesliga season than the German site has priced him at.
Even after Schick signed an improved contract at the West German club, valid until 2027. Anyway, Transfermarkt has newly priced the Czech forward at €50 million (approx. CZK 1.235 billion).
If we focus on the year-on-year increase in value, Patrik Schick is the second comet of the Bundesliga. Only Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunk has seen a bigger increase in estimated value.
According to Transfermarkt, Patrik Schick has surpassed the Bundesliga’s top scorer Robert Lewandowski (€45 million) in market value, in addition to Tomas Soucek (€45 million).
However, the 26-year-old striker is still not even among the top 10 most expensive players in the Bundesliga. He is tied for 13th place with Bayern Munich’s Lucas Hernández.
