The summer departure of Adam Hložek has been announced for quite some time. Sparta fans have been putting up with it for a long time, but they believed that the club would collect a large amount of money for the player.
This is what happened, although the sources are quite different. Renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano wrote about €13 million without bonuses, which almost all sources agree on.
However, the player’s agent Pavel Paska outlined that such a sum is not realistic. “I would buy Adam Hložek myself for 13 million euros. And I would make a significant profit very soon, I guarantee you that,” he told Seznam Zprávy.
The agent has agreed with the player that he will try to get him to Germany or Italy. “It might be easier to get him to England for the money Sparta wanted, we considered it for a long time, there were options, but in the end we decided not to go that way now.
Why? In two or three years Adam will be perfectly ready for it. Now I wanted to, figuratively speaking, tailor a suit for him. And Germany was the perfect fit for me at the moment,” said Paska.
He then mentioned that Olympique Lyon was very interested in him, as well as AC Milan, where he said he would find it quite difficult due to the competition.
In the winter, there was also talk of interest from Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich. Mr Paska spoke to both, but the interest was apparently not as hot as Leverkusen, which is quite possibly the best possible option for him.
