After a season without a workload, a mega-transfer? Leipzig want Alex Kral, former Spartak coach wants him

This would be a masterpiece. Alex King has had a bad year in England, virtually not getting on the pitch at all for West Ham. Yet he could move to an even higher level, as German side Leipzig, a Champions League regular, are interested in him.

At Slavia, he shot to great performances that catapulted him into the national team. He subsequently earned a €13 million transfer to Spartak Moscow, where he made a great name for himself.

King was one of the cornerstones of Spartak, made the starting lineup for the national team and several Premier League clubs began to take an interest in him. The hairy midfielder chose West Ham, but it was not a good choice.

Despite Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice being virtually absent from the line-up, if a substitute was needed, David Moyes pointed to captain Mark Noble. As a result, he started for just a minute in the Premier League, racking up two starts in the cups and three in the Europa League.

So he won’t be staying in London, nor will he be returning to Russia in the current situation. So what is his next direction? Surprisingly enough. RB Leipzig.

German Sky Sport reports about Leipzig’s interest and says that the 24-year-old Czech and Leipzig have already had their first contact.

He should replace Konrad Laimer in the white jersey, who is going to Bayern Munich. According to Sky Sports, King would be a perfect fit for Leipzig’s style as a strong and physical defensive midfielder.

Moreover, he would have something he needs immensely to perform here but has been virtually lacking in England:: Confidence and calmness from the coach. If he gets regular starts, he can quickly get back to his national team form.
