PSG’s Gueye refused to wear the LQBT jersey. For the same reason he didn’t play last year

Idrissa Gana Gueye has played a large part of PSG’s games this season, but he was absent for no reason in the penultimate one. In the end, his absence was due to the support of the LQBT community.
PSG had a pretty big squad for the Montpellier game. Due to injuries Neymar, Paredes, Icardi, Diallo, Draxler, Kurzawa and Dagba couldn’t play, Kimpembe had a yellow card stoppage.
But the Parisians were missing one more player, but the reason for his absence was not given. According to RMC Sport, Gueye refused to start because of the LQBT support.
In fact, the Ligue 1 players wore jerseys with numbers emblazoned with the rainbow flag in support of the LQBT and the fight against homophobia.
But that’s no match for Gueye. The 32-year-old professor of the Muslim faith did not appear in the nomination for the match at all, for the same reason he was absent last season in the round supporting the LQBT movement.
On social media, Gueye got opinions from both sides. The prevailing praise was for standing up for his opinion. Others, on the other hand, are writing to the Senegalese midfielder that if he is paid so well for his work, he should get in.
