VIDEO: Not even a card for this?! Rangers player hits Frankfurt star in the head with his football in the Europa League final

Fans of Czech football could recall the tough play of the Scottish big club Rangers FC in the very beginning of the Europa League final. Eintracht Frankfurt’s captain was hit in the face with a kick, just like Slavie’s goalkeeper Ondřej Kolář.

There are probably not many less popular clubs in Czech football than the Scottish club Rangers FC. The reason is simple. The Scottish club’s footballers presented themselves with brutal and vicious football in matches against Slavia, then tried to accuse Ondrej Kudel of racism.

Rangers even managed to unite fans of Sparta and Slavia, two irreconcilable rivals. The overwhelming majority of the Czech football public was clearly on the side of Slavia, regardless of club affiliation.

It cannot be said that the Scottish team played with the intention of hurting their opponent. However, it does happen from time to time and it happened in the Europa League final against Eintracht Frankfurt.

However, the role of Ondrej Kolář, the goalkeeper of Slavia, was replaced by the captain of the German team, Sebastian Rode, who ended up on the ground with a laceration on his head after only five minutes of the match.

His Kemar Roof was midfielder John Lundstram, who lifted his leg too high. However, the referee did not even give him a yellow card, let alone a red one. The football world wonders how an English footballer could get away with this.

Unlike the Czech goalkeeper, however, Rode was able to continue the match, which is of course only good.
