The first and youngest ever Octagon champion has never made any secret of her big ambitions. Theresa Pale has always had a clear goal of making it to the UFC. And not just casually. She wanted to become the youngest fighter in the most famous MMA organization. And she can do that.
On Wednesday, she announced on social media that she signed on to participate in Dana White’s Contender Series, where she will fight for a UFC contract right in front of her boss, Dana White.
Bleda will have a contract fight on Saturday, September 6 in Las Vegas. She will therefore be fighting for a contract just a week after a fight of the same nature awaits Moravian fighter Matej Peñaz.
The opponent of the 20-year-old Czech will be the rising star from Brazil, Maia Nayara, who, like Bledá, has never lost once in her career.
If Bledá succeeds, she will be the second fighter from the Czech Republic to make it to the UFC. Besides, she may be the youngest female fighter in the UFC ever.
The post in which the Czech announced the good news was even commented positively and happily by current UFC star Pannie Kianzad, a top ten bantamweight.
