West Ham vs. Arsenal: Preview and betting tips
Sunday’s Premier League schedule features a London derby between West Ham and Arsenal.
Sunday’s Premier League schedule features a London derby between West Ham and Arsenal. The home side are fighting for the Top 6, the away side need to win to keep fourth place. What to expect from the match?
West Ham are obviously suffering from a narrow squad, they have won only one of their last six games, they lost to Frankfurt 1:2 in the Europa League semi-finals last week. From seventh place, they are three points behind sixth-placed Manchester United.
Arsenal returned to fourth place in the table with two wins last week, two points behind fifth-placed Tottenham. It has four games to go, including the London derby with Spurs.
Jarrod Bowen is the home team’s workhorse, the English winger has scored fifteen goals and assisted eleven in all competitions. In the centre of midfield, one of the best duos in the world is Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek.
Bukayo Sako is firing it up in a Gunners jersey, the 20-year-old offensive all-rounder boasts a 12+6 record. Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale and stopper Ben White have also been performing well for a long time.
The Hammers have struggled offensively, scoring more than one goal in only one of their last six games.
Arsenal, however, are not doing well on their opponents’ pitches either, scoring more than one goal only once in the last four away games.
Considering the good mood in the Gunners’ squad and West Ham’s tough schedule, I think Arsenal will win.
