Spartan’s B team welcomed Vyškov in the second league match. Although the match did not go well for the home team, when they were 0:1 down at half-time, they managed to turn the game around and enjoyed a 4:1 win.
The lion’s share of this victory is due to Bulgarian footballer Martin Minchev. Thanks to him, Sparta got three points, as Minchev’s three goals turned the score around in just nine minutes. And the last one was really worth it!
Minchev took advantage of a bad position of the visiting goalkeeper Spurny and beat him with a shot from the middle of the field. He crowned his great performance with this wonderful goal.
Minchev has been extremely productive in the second league. After the match against Vyškov, he has five goals from only four matches this season. In the first league, he scored four goals from seventeen matches, supported by two assists.
The Bulgarian footballer, only twenty years old, is thus loudly asking for a place in the Spartan squad. However, it will be very difficult for him, as his competitor Tomáš Čvančara scored two goals for Teplice in the last match and led his team to victory.
But if Minchev continues these performances, coach Vrba will have to give him another chance. Moreover, he is still a very young footballer, who at 20 years old still has his whole career ahead of him.
