Petrasek: I respect the Pirate as a wrestler, but he needs to be educated. If he fouls, I’ll give him a highkick and you can disqualify me

Already in May, we will see a boxing fight between Miloš Petrášek and Pirát, and a mutual “trash-talk” has already started. Samuel Kristofich has described his next opponent as a fake. What did the Czech fighter say?

OKTAGON Underground, which will be hosted by Prague’s O2 arena in May, will offer several interesting boxing matches. One of them will be a fight between Milos Petrasek and Samuel Kristofich.

Petrasek is looking forward to the fight, immediately after the announcement of the fight he revealed that he is looking forward to be able to train the Pirate. However, the Slovakian fighter said in the studio at the recent Oktagon tournament that he thought he and “Melon” were friends. He even referred to the Czech as a fake.

Petrasek then posted on Instagram the Pirate’s in-studio speech, to which he wrote that Kristofich deserved an Oscar for his performance. Now, he has commented on the situation on the MMA podcast , Flying Around the World.

The Czech fighter says that saying hello to someone in the hallway doesn’t immediately imply camaraderie. He’s just not going to overlook his colleagues. Every person in the world, he says, is fake in their own way. If the Pirate is from a world where only the truth is spoken, he would like to be shown it.

Kristofich, he says, would need to be educated. “When I look at his game with Cverna, where he shakes his hand and then sends a backward direct, in other games he was grabbing gloves, reaching into his crotch… He wouldn’t need bringing up for that? If I’m going to be the tool to do it, I’m happy to take it on,” Petrasek expressed.

The Czech wrestler respects the pirate because of his attitude. In fact, the Slovakian has accepted a fight with Petrasek in the weight class up to 91 kilograms, he recently fought Alex Cverna, who fights in the heavyweight division, and two weeks before the fight he accepted a title fight with Marcin Naruszczka.

“I appreciate him for that, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to beat him. I want to and I will beat him. I’ll do it at the O2 Arena, I’ll beat him and I’m looking forward to it. Is it going to be a KO? He’s going to take it, so I’ll have to prepare for it, but I know I’ve got what it takes to beat him,” he continued in his statement.

What Petrasek fears then is the aforementioned fouls. If the Pirate tries it on him as well, he certainly won’t like it. He says he will calmly throw it or give him a lowkick or highkick. And that would mean disqualification? “I don’t care, he’s not going to do that shit to me,” he said with a smile.

Petrasek’s biggest luck, he says, is that the boxing glove won’t fit in his shorts. He said it’s the worst thing that could happen to him. He’d like to work out a deal with the Pirate where they don’t shake hands at the start of the fight so they can immediately run into each other.
