Abdallah Sima probably had a different vision of his career. He shone at Slavia and there was talk of the huge sums he would leave the club for, but then came the downturn and although the transfer sum did not reach the level many imagined, Slavia still made a lot of money from the player.
The Senegalese winger or striker himself now confirms how much the transfer paid off for Slavia. In Stoke City, where he is on loan from Brighton, he does not play at all.
He got a chance for the A-team at the beginning of the current season, but he didn’t do too well and he got injured. After recovering, he played 28 minutes against Bentford in the cup in October and then got injured again.
That was the end of his playing time in the A’s. Sima has been plagued by injuries this year, but on Friday he fixed his appetite in a three-legged match between Stoke City and Aston Villa.
The former Slavia Prague forward scored twice. Thanks to this, his team continues to fight for promotion to the first group of the local Premier League 2.
The latter is made up only of U23 teams and Chelsea, for example, is fighting to stay in the higher one, which is soaked in relegation waters.
