The Argentine striker’s contract expires this June and there has been much speculation in recent months as to whether Juventus will offer him a new one.

However, the speculation was put to rest by the club’s CEO Maurizio Arrivabene in an interview with Sky Sport: “Juventus will not offer Dybala a new contract. With the arrival of Vlahovic, there has been a change and Paulo is no longer the centre of our project.”

“We could offer him a contract with a low salary, but that would not show him enough respect. We have considered everything carefully and have come to this decision.”

The 28-year-old striker will therefore change club after 7 seasons. And already the first interested parties are appearing. According to Italian media, Spanish champions Atlético Madrid are interested in his services.

However, Dybala could also be awaited by Premier League fans, as English clubs are also linked with the player.

Arsenal are reportedly the most interested, having unsuccessfully sought reinforcements for their attack in January and will continue to do so in the summer. Other teams mentioned are Manchester United and Tottenham.

Both clubs wanted Dybala 3 years ago, but at the moment their interest should not be too great. But that may change, as United will be leaving Cavani, the future of Rashford and Ronaldo is uncertain and it’s hard to say what will happen with Greenwood.

Spurs might be threatened by Harry Kane’s departure again, plus the club seems to be happy with the latest signings from Juventus for now.

However, the Argentine international, who has been in Italy for most of his career, might not have to leave the country at all, as there is also interest among Juventus’ rivals in Serie A.
