The champion of the Oktagon MMA organization could show up at the London UFC tournament! It is Jonas Magard, who has applied for his chance after dropping Nathaniel Wood’s opponent twice.
Nathaniel Wood must be looking forward to his London tournament. However, his fight with Liudvik Sholinian didn’t go his way as the Ukrainian headed back to his country to help it in its war with Russia.
So Wood waited for a new opponent, which was Vince Morales. But he won’t be in the tournament either, as he was forced to withdraw.
The English fighter will be changing opponents for the second time, that is if the UFC can find a replacement so quickly. The champion of the Octagon organization has signed up for the fight.
Danish fighter Jonas Magard posted a post on his Instagram saying that he is able to make weight and pass the tests.
He subsequently tagged the organization and Wood. And it has to be said that this fight could make sense for all parties. Magard may have a contract with the Octagon, but there is most certainly a UFC clause in it.
Magard could make his dream come true and move to the best MMA organization in the world. The Czech-Slovak audience would miss his fight with Vaclav Sivak.
