Slavia lost a two-goal lead and lost 3:4, also lost Ousou and Plavsic to suspension
Slavia Prague did not make it to the second semi-final against LASK Linz. Just like in the opening game, Yira Sor shone, scoring a goal and assisting, but goalkeeper Aleš Mandous was not convinced by his performance, as he made a mistake on the second Austrian goal. They eventually turned the score around and won 4:3.

Prague Slavia won the opening match against the Austrian team LASK Linz 4:1 and took a really promising lead into the rematch. But the goal was not only to keep it, but to win it.
Slavia certainly did not come to defend. In the fifth minute the home team had their first scoring opportunity, but Husein Balic was saved by Aleš Mandous. However, the first goal was scored by Slavia, more precisely by Peter Olayinka, who hit the crossbar in the 24th minute after a successful pass from Ondrej Lingr.
Linz levelled the score in the 36th minute, the ball bounced off the bar to a free Philipp Wiesinger, who missed the ball in front of an empty net, but it went over the line after an assist from a teammate.
The Austrians enjoyed the lead for just a minute, then Yira Sor was in office, who broke away from the defence and found a free Alexander Bach, who had already shot into the empty net.
The disappointment for the Slavs came in the 42nd minute, Aiham Ousou had to leave the field after a second yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Slavia were two goals up, Sor again broke away from the defence and burned through everything in his path.
But that was the end of Slavia’s joy. In the 76th minute came a reduction from Wiesinger, whose shot did float in, but Mandous certainly doesn’t have a clear conscience.
In the 85th minute, Plavsic was red-carded and Linz sensed a chance. Three minutes later they equalised and then managed to take a 4:3 lead.
This result does not change the progress of Slavia, but it must be said that everything could have been much better. It is definitely not good news for the coefficient, as rival PAOK from Greece not only advanced, but even won.
