Former UFC fighter Paige VanZant will be wrestling in the wrestling ring! Why did she make this decision?
Paige VanZant is arguably one of the most famous MMA fighters in the world. However, the former UFC fighter has relatively recently made the transition to wrestling without gloves and has now announced another transfer. She will in fact be doing wrestling, which is more of an acting gig than a sporting one.

Paige VanZant is a former UFC wrestler and is also known for her looks. That’s why many were surprised when she decided to make the switch to wrestling without gloves.
She signed with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship organization and has now decided to take a break from real wrestling. She’s switching to wrestling.
It’s well known that the sport is not about athletic performance, but rather acting. VanZant will “wrestle” under the banner of All Elite Wrestling, a competitor of the better known WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment).
“I wanted togive the world one more reason to hate me,” she explained on Twitter of her switch. VanZant apparently wants to get more and more exposure.
After all, she wasn’t doing too well in the BKFC. She lost both of her fights and this transfer should help her especially financially as her brand will grow in value.
It has to be said, however, that the road back may be a difficult one. The die-hard combat sports fans don’t logically accept wrestling.
