Slavia has LASK Linz! They will start the Conference Eight finals at home

Slavia knocked out the strong Fenerbahce in the Conference playoffs and will play in the eighth round of the competition. The fate of the Czech team was awarded to Austrian LASK Linz.

Sparta unfortunately fell short to Partizan Belgrade and so we have only one Czech team left in the cups. Slavia made it to the spring stage of the cups for the second time in a row and three times out of the last four years.

Those advancing from the initial knockout round will face the winners of the preliminary groups, who were guaranteed a place in the eighth round outright. These teams are seeded, so they will play their rematches at home.

Slavia will face the following opponents – Alkmaar (Netherlands), Feyenoord (Netherlands) AS Rome (Italy), Basel (Switzerland), FC Copenhagen (Denmark), Ghent (Belgium), LASK Linz (Austria) and Rennes (France).

In the end, Slavia’s lot was awarded to LASK Linz from Austria. The Seškis will start at home, while LASK, as the group winner, has the advantage of a home rematch. The first match will be played on 10 March, the rematch a week later on 17 March.
