Martin Doležal is firing sharp in Poland! He helped Zaglebia Lubin to victory with two goals
Martin Doležal changed his jersey in the winter transfer period. From Jablonec in North Bohemia he went to Zaglebie Lubin in Poland and his adaptation was very fast! In the 22nd round of the Polish Ekstraklasa, the stocky forward scored two goals against Plock.

Martin Dolezal’s goals marked a great turn around! Wisla Plock were leading 1:0 in Lubin from the 11th minute and it was the Czech forward’s goals that started Zaglebia to victory. The native of Wallachian Mezirici equalised in the 31st minute and sent his team into the lead in the 59th minute.
Unfortunately, Doležal did not score a hat-trick. Łukasz Lakomy scored the third goal, which decided Zaglebie’s 3:1 victory.
the 31-year-old Czech striker scored in the 72nd minute to a great ovation from the home crowd. It was only Dolezal’s third start against Plock in the Polish Ekstraklasa and his first ever start in the starting line-up. Can Dolezal get back to national team form in Poland?
Coach Piotr Stokowiec could now give the ex-Jablonek forward much more space. Zaglebie are currently 13th in the league and are far from saved. It is Dolezal who could obviously take the thorn out of Zaglebie’s side.
Far worse off is the Europa League play-off loser Slavia. Poland’s biggest club is in the relegation zone in 17th position. Legia still have two games to play, but it really doesn’t look like another European season.
