Slavia Prague is preparing for the return leg of the European Conference League. In the opening game, they beat Fenerbahce 3:2 at their stadium, so their chances of qualifying are great.
The line-up will most likely change slightly, as everything depends on the health of individual players. “I think Ondra Lingr will be for sure. We can’t say about Petr Ševčík, it looks like he won’t, but it’s an injury that can improve in one day.
Lukáš Masopust will definitely not. Tomáš Holeš trained on Tuesday, so if he completes Wednesday’s training, he will be available on Thursday,” coach Jindřich Trpišovský said at the press conference.
However, the coaching staff is already clear about the line-up. “We are dealing more with what players we will have available for the match, because we didn’t have many for the weekend. Other players dropped out because of the roster, so we called up some young guys from the youth team.
The game could go a lot of different ways. It will possibly affect Tomas Holes, who we are counting on at the moment. We would onlydeal with it if Tomáš is unable to play,” said coach Jindřich Trpišovský at the press conference.
Yira Sor, a new winter signing from Baník Ostrava, started in Turkey. However, the coach did not want to answer whether he will be in the attack now or whether Stanislav Tecl will start.
“Yira played very well in that match. He is also an option for Thursday’s game, although I think it will be a bit different than the first game. There’s a different variation of the formation at the opponent’s place in the game, so we will react to all this,” he added.
He then talked about the last game he was unable to attend. According to him, it was the worst before the match and also after the match itself as he could not be with the team.
The match starts at 9 pm, more than 10 000 Slavic fans will be able to watch it at the stadium, it will also be offered by CT Sport screens.
