Slovak coach Adrián Guľa quits after six months at Wisla Krakow! The reason is unsatisfactory performances and two early spring defeats. In addition to him, there are also several Czech players in the team.
Slovak coach Adrian Guľa is no longer the coach of the Polish first league team Wisla Krakow. The reason is unsatisfactory results.
The club made the announcement on Sunday after the traditional club fell at home to Stal Mielec on Saturday. Because of this, Wisla is in 13th place with only 21 points.
They are just a point away from the relegation waters and a coaching change was necessary. Under the Slovak coach, Wisla scored their worst defeat in 32 years.
They lost 0:5 to Slask Wroclaw and the fans did not take it lightly. The Slovak coach and his team are leaving the club, but there are still domestic traces in the club.
In fact, there are still four Czech footballers in Wisla – Michal Frydrych, Matěj Hanousek, Jan Kliment and Zdeněk Ondrášek.
Michal Švarka from Slovakia is also in the team. In the last fateful match, Frydrych, who is the captain, Kliment and Švarka started in the starting line-up, while Ondrášek came off the bench to reverse the result.
