A fansite dealing with London West Ham, shared a post on their Twitter account summarising their darlings’ points tally so far. The Hammers’ top ten most unproductive players include two Czech national team players, Vladimir Coufal and Tomas Soucek.
Tomas Soucek is slightly less potent this season than last season. That doesn’t change the fact that for David Moyes’ team the burly midfielder is an extremely important part of the starting line-up.
Soucek is 7th in West Ham’s scoring, scoring three goals and assisting two this season. That’s still a very good record for a defensive midfielder.
Vladimir Coufal is the ninth most productive player in the team. He has 5 assists but no goals. He didn’t score his first goal in a West Ham jersey last season, so he is still waiting for his first goal in a Hammers jersey.
The fans know that very well, and they would like Coufal to finally score a goal.
However, Coufal’s name came up in the discussion one more time. One fan was surprised that the Czech right-back has more assists than Aaron Cresswell.
Vladimír Coufal can break the scoring curse against Norwich, who are in last place in the Premier League.
But there is a question mark over the Czech defender’s start. He did not play against Leeds due to illness and it is still not officially known if he will play today.
