Lately, the salaries of MMA fighters and female fighters have become more and more of an issue. YouTuber Jake Paul often comments on the subject, calling out UFC stars for boxing matches.
Paul has even offered to go directly to the most famous MMA organization and quit boxing if the fighters and fighters get better financial conditions.
A few female fighters are making money by setting up an account on the OnlyFans platform or creating their own sites where they get paid for intimate and daring photos. One example is Paige VanZant, who, although no longer in the UFC, is still very popular.
The 35-year-old Miesha Tate, who returned to the cage in 2021 after five years and had two fights, could certainly make good money with her beauty. But she has no plans to do anything like that.
In an interview with Combat Culture, she stated that she’s definitely not desperate enough to make such a move. Her statement then sparked quite a wave of disapproval from other female fighters.
Among the famous female fighters who use OnlyFans are Jessica Andrade, whose photos were even leaked to the public, Jessica Penne, Kay Hansen and Bec Rawlings.
The first to speak out about Tate, however, was Julia Avila. “The fighters may want attention, they may want an extra dollar, but they may also want to show their feminine side and how beautiful they are. It’ s not our place to judge and put down other lives,” the UFC fighter expressed on Instagram.
Avila also stated that she respected and truly appreciated the former champion of the best MMA organization until now. Thus, she hopes that her statement was taken out of context.
