Newcastle have another big signing! Sevilla stopper comes to the rescue of the Magpies

Newcastle circles around star players until someone finally catches on. The wealthy owners have already attracted Kieran Trippier and Chris Wood to St James’ Park, now comes a very sound signing from Sevilla. The Magpies will be rescued by stopper Diego Carlos.

Money rules the world, even in football. There’s honestly no other way to put Carlos’ desire to go to Newcastle.

He’s absolutely key at Sevilla, he and Kounde in the midfield are perfectly matched, they have the best defence in the league, they’ve only conceded 13 goals. They play Champions League regularly, they are one of the favourites to win the Europa League, and in La Liga Sevilla will be chasing Real Madrid for the title in the spring.

Moreover, his living conditions are also great, as a Brazilian he had a much easier acclimatisation in the south of Spain, Seville is a beautiful city where the sun streams in almost all year round.

And Carlos will trade all that for saving Newcastle in the Premier League and quite possibly the second league from next season. Logically, the biggest attraction had to be the amount in the wage column.

According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Magpies have already agreed terms on a contract with Diego Carlos and a transfer is therefore imminent. The transfer fee should be around 30 million euros.
