Chelsea vs. Tottenham: Preview and betting tips
Wednesday night will be a very attractive game, with Chelsea welcoming a spirited Tottenham, who since the arrival of Antonio Conte can realistically think about winning a trophy and the Carabao Cup could be that premiere.

While Chelsea have been stagnant, winning only 3 of their last 9 games, Tottenham are starting to become the great team they were not long ago. Conte’s work is starting to show, as the Liverpool and West Ham teams have seen recently.
It is the great motivation of winning the title that should be the driving force behind Spurs, as they only need to beat two opponents and the dream trophy will be theirs.
Moreover, the Italian coach doesn’t have to deal with so many player problems when only the trio of Cristian Romero, Steven Bergwijn and Ryan Sessegnon should be out.
It is Thomas Tuchel who will most likely not use the services of Andreas Christensen, Reece James, Ben Chilwell, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Trevoh Chalobah. At least Timo Werner could already be on the bench. Goalkeeper Édouard Mendy has already left for the African championship.
Chelsea have played Tottenham three times in the last three years, losing 1-0 away, but in the return leg they won 2-1 and went into extra time. In the end, the Blues defeated their London rival on penalties and advanced to the final.
Even a year later, the game ended amicably, with the match being decided on penalties. The only unsuccessful enforcer was Mason Mount, after whose failure Tottenham celebrated their progress to the quarter-finals.
This time, too, an even battle is expected, with two teams with similar playing styles and formation. However, greater motivation and also better form plays in favour of Spurs, who I believe will not lose this match, at least not in normal time.
