The boxing fight between Karlos Vemola and Marpo has been postponed twice already. Both fighters believe that it will not happen a third time. They are scheduled to face each other in May. The listed odds may surprise some people.
On November 13, we should have already seen the first boxing fight of Karlos Vemola, who was supposed to face Marpo. Unfortunately, due to the Terminator’s poor health, the fight was postponed, twice even.
The first time the fight was postponed from November to February, the second time from February to May. The actual date is May 21, 2022.
According to Ondrej Novotny, Vemola has said that if he is not available for that date, he will never be available again.
And while the Terminator gets his health back together, Marpo can train in peace. He has that much more time. In some people’s eyes, he’s the favorite. Attila Végh, for example, who praised his technique, criticised Vemola’s boxing.
Of course, not as many tickets have been placed yet, but even the bookies are overwhelmingly more confident in Marp, with 64% of punters having placed a bet on him.
However, this is not the only surprise. The odds for the boxing match between Gábor Boráros and Jakub Štáfek are at similar numbers.
Boráros, as a professional MMA fighter, has odds of 2.01 to win, while Štáfek has odds of 1.70.
The actor enjoys much more confidence among bettors than Marpo. So far, 77% of bettors have bet on him.
Will the bookmakers’ predictions and the bettors’ confidence be confirmed?
