Huge chaos at PSG! Players led by Messi don’t come to training after the party, Neymar is feared by the management
Star names alone have never won anything. If the discipline is not right, no team can succeed in today’s football. And judging by what is leaking out of the PSG cabin, there is huge chaos in the Parisian unit. And that’s led by Lionel Messi and Neymar.
Star names alone have never won anything. If the discipline is not right, no team can succeed in today’s football. And judging by what is leaking out of the PSG cabin, there is huge chaos in the Parisian unit. And that’s led by Lionel Messi and Neymar.
The star attack of Neymar – Mbappé – Messi was supposed to destroy everything in its path. In the league, it’s been relatively successful, but in the Champions League, the first hitch came. PSG finished second in the group behind Manchester City and will face one of the toughest opponents and the king of the competition, Real Madrid, in the eighth round.
However, if PSG don’t clear the air, they will have to forget about their big success. According to the latest information, it seems that the Parisian giant’s cabinet is not ruled by Mauricio Pochettino, but by the players themselves.
Leading Spanish journalist Andrés Onrubia Ramos, who focuses on French football, made a rather shocking discovery on his Twitter account. According to the L’Equipe newspaper, the problems start already between the three poles, as Keylor Navas and Gianlugi Donnarumma are not coping well with the competition.
When PSG played Nice, goalkeeper Bulka, who is on loan at Nice from PSG, came into the home side’s cabin to say hello. He told Keylor that it was a coincidence that he had the same brand of gloves (Sells). Keylor looked at Donnarumma and replied
The substitutions in goal are not going down well with either of them and the relationship off the pitch is therefore very much on the rocks.
But the other problems are much more serious than childish banter. According to L’Equipe newspaper, the two South American players did not train with the team on Monday because they went out partying on Sunday. Moreover, they didn’t have to ask the coaches’ permission, nor did they need their confirmation that they didn’t need to attend practice.
And the other leaks from the PSG cabin concern the ultimate one, Lionel Messi. According to the newspaper L’Equipe, on November 29, the day Messi won his seventh Ballon d’Or, several PSG players went out to celebrate the occasion. The next day, Messi and his great friend Paredes did not train, citing the excuse of intestinal flu. This should have upset the other PSG players a lot.
Another problem link in the cabinet is Neymar. An amazing footballer with stellar manners. The Brazilian was supposed to arrive to sign a contract with a major sponsor, only he didn’t show up for hours and ended up arriving much later than he was supposed to.
The club wanted to punish him severely, but in the end didn’t because they were afraid the information would get out. So the excuse was that Neymar didn’t know whether to take a coronavirus test in the morning.
Another nasty leak points to August 1. PSG lost the Super Cup to Lille, but the final was played in Israel. In that outing, midfielder Gueye had tested positive for coronavirus but did not want to be vaccinated for religious reasons.
According to L’Equipe, the PSG management used high-level contacts to arrange for Gueye to be quarantined in Israel for 10 days, so that he would only serve 3 days in isolation.
Another issue is Kylian Mbappé’s contract. The French star is out of contract in the summer and has made it publicly clear that he is not going to extend it, but intends to leave for Real Madrid. However, PSG still believe that the contract renewal will happen, but the instability of the PSG cabin and the bad atmosphere in the team is supposed to be one of the reasons why Mbappé does not want to sign a new contract.
