Repeat LM draw: Real Madrid go to PSG! Manchester United got Atlético Madrid

A shame that is unprecedented. This is what UEFA said during the Champions League draw. The huge mess, with teams being badly spread out in their baskets, casts a black light on the world’s best competition. In the end they had to redraw, how did the renewed draw turn out?

We saw an incredibly flawed draw in the first Champions League semi-final draw.

Manchester United were drawn against Villarreal, which is not possible as the two teams played each other in the group stage. Real Madrid was incorrectly thrown as a possible opponent for Villarreal, which is impossible as both teams are from the same country. Manchester United was not thrown as a possible opponent for Atlético Madrid, but should have been correctly. And Liverpool was thrown in as a possible opponent for Atlético, which didn’t work due to the fact that they played together in the group.

The first matches of the eight-finals will be played on 15, 16, 22 and 23 February, with the rematches on 8, 9, 15 and 16 March. On 18 March the quarter-finals and semi-finals will be drawn at the same time, with the teams no longer divided into seeded and unseeded.

Starting at the ground of the unseeded team (second in the group), the rematch at the stadium of the seeded team (winner of the group). For the eight-finals, teams from the same country still cannot face each other.
