The indispensable Bah
Another excellent game for Slavia’s best player this season, Alexander Bah. Apart from a few passes, he excelled on the right side, setting up Slavia’s first goal with a quick sprint to the ball and an accurate centre.
At the end of the game he caught a goal and got injured. He was unconscious for half a minute and was in danger of concussion. The Seagulls couldn’t finish without the Danish international, they cashed in and lost a point.
Kuchta’s weapon is also valid in Europe
Jan Kuchta has built his position as Slavia’s first striker by, among other things, finishing situations. To be more precise, he attacks the goalkeeper when his teammates take shots, and at the same time he actively presses when the goalkeepers play the ball.
On Thursday, it bore fruit again. Ofir Marciano only parried a shot by Tomas Holes in the 66th minute, Kuchta was in the right place, rounded the visitors’ goalkeeper and hit the empty net.
It was Kuchta’s third goal that fell through the goalkeeper’s fault. That’s a good number.
Versatile stoppers
Swapping stopper positions in a game is a very rare move. However, Jindřich Trpišovský resorted to the risky option against Feyenoord. Aiham Ousou had a problem defending Luis Sinisterra in the first half and the Slavia coach didn’t let it go unnoticed.
After a change of tents, the Swedish stopper played alongside Oscar Dorley, while Sinisterra took Taras Kacharaba under his thumb and performed at number one. He confirmed that he is currently the number one stopper and one of the leaders of the team.
