“But above all, Ole is an excellent human being. I wish him all the best in whatever life has in store for him, ” he concluded.

Given the concept, Solskjaer was supposed to be the manager who would drag Manchester United back to the limelight. Although his involvement with the Red Devils turned out the way it did, there is one thing we cannot deny him.

Objectively, we have to admit that after the departure of Jose Mourinho, he gave United the much-needed energy and the team started to “recover”.

However, the English giant is currently eighth in the league table with 17 points, and that is certainly not a card the Red Devils can boast. After the loss against Watford, David de Gea stood up for Solskjaer.

In the words of the Spanish goalkeeper, the blame doesn’t always go only to the coach and he described his team’s performance as embarrassing. However, this did not save the Norwegian coach, the club’s management announced his departure on their website the very next day.

The name of the new coach is not clear at the moment, the A-team will be led by the current assistant, Michael Carrick, for the time being.
