The Czech national team will play a friendly match against Kuwait in November and then a qualifying match against Estonia. How will the implementation team approach the preparatory duel?
It is almost certain that the Czech national football team will fight in the barrier for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar in March. However, it has one more match to improve its position for the final fight.
However, they have to rely on Wales losing to Belgium, while at the same time the Czechs will have a better score than Wales at the end of the group.
Head coach Jaroslav Šilhavy will be unavailable due to a coronavirus infection, so his right-hand man Jiří Chytrý will take over. How will the national team take the friendly match with Kuwait?
“In the end we decided to use the match with Kuwait as a preparation for Estonia, not as an experiment. For the most part, the lineup will probably be similar, but we have some positions with question marks and we are yet to decide how we will play against Estonia. We will want to try some things, especially in the offensive direction,” Chytrý told repre.fotbal.cz.
The assistant coach of the Czech national team also hinted that Mandous might get the chance he deserved with his great performances. He also revealed the composition of the midfield.
“We announced that the current feeling from the training units will play a role. In Belarus, it was also affected by the fact that Tomas Kalas was indisposed, but he is now available and it is expected that he will play matches during this meeting. And we will decide with whom he will play the matches. If everything goes according to plan, Tomas Kalas will play the games together with one of the players we have available,” says Chytrý.
The coaches can use David Zima, Jakub Brabec or newcomer Filip Panak at stopper. There is also a question mark in the attack, which is missing shooting guard Patrik Schick. He should be replaced by Matěj Vydra, Jan Kuchta and Michael Krmenčík.
