Slavia will have a tough game against Maccabi, they can’t afford to lose. But the squad is suffering from injuries, so Jindřich Trpišovský has indicated that there will be changes in the starting line-up. What are they?
There is a question mark at the first post in goal. Aleš Mandous has got between the three sticks, he is in good form and in the last two games he has scored two clean sheets. However, Ondrej Kolář is still the number one and we can expect Trpišovský to give him a chance at least in the cups.
The defence is one big headache for the Slavia management team. When the stopper pair Kacharaba-Ousou finally settled down, the two outside backs dropped out again. According to Trpišovský, the start is 50-50 for Baha, for Oscar it is uncertain, but the chance is alive.
Daniel Samek should operate in the centre of midfield with Petr Ševčík and Nicolae Stancio. Ševčík has been the captain of Slavia in the last few games and has been giving excellent performances. The other two midfielders came on against Plzeň for the second half and helped decide the game.
Srdjan Plavsic could come in on the left wing, who finally showed his good form against Viktoria. Peter Olayinka could be rested due to his health complications.
Ubong Ekpai will probably start on the right side, and Lukas Masopust will start on the right side if both runners are healthy. Ondrej Lingr, who played the second half against Plzeň and decided the game, could also make an appearance.
At the top, the choice is between Krmenčík and Kuchta. Trpišovský said at the press conference that he will start one game and finish the other, and the roles will be reversed this weekend in the league. He also added that Krmencik looks great in training, so it is likely that he will be in the starting lineup.
Probable line-up of Slavia::

Masopust – Kacharaba – Ousou – Oscar
Samek – Ševčík
