Big blow for Dortmund! Haaland may miss the rest of the year

Erling Haaland is already one of the biggest stars in world football, but this season is not one in which he can continuously break one record after another. However, it is not his performances that are to blame, but injuries. According to his father, he won’t play for a while.
The Norwegian forward has been performing well again this season. However, injuries are holding him back, otherwise his numbers could be much better.
So far he has played 10 competitive games for Borussia Dortmund, scoring 13 goals and adding 4 assists.
Already at the turn of September and October, Erling Haaland had to miss a couple of games due to a minor health problem, however, he didn’t get to play much after his recovery.
He played his last game on 19 October, when Dortmund fell ignominiously to Ajax (0:4). The Borussia star injured his hip.
Haaland was expected to be out for several weeks. However, his absence will be longer than initially expected.
“Erling is doing well at the moment, but he will be out for a while. It would be surprising if he could start the game before Christmas,” Alf-Inge Haaland, the player’s father, was quoted as saying in an interview with TV 2 Norway.
Compared to previous seasons, Dortmund are doing quite well without Haaland. But Borussia will definitely miss him in important matches. Already this weekend the Westphalian team will play Leipzig, and before the end of the year Borussia will play Bayern and Wolfsburg.
