Ousmane Dembélé struggled with a total of thirteen injuries after arriving at Barcelona. In addition, the French international missed almost two years in total for his team.
Barcelona came out after the Champions League match against Dynamo Kiev with the news that Ousmane Dembélé was suffering from muscle problems. For the Catalan club’s supporters, however, this is already a stale story.
Dembélé arrived at Barcelona in 2017 and in his four years there, he spent almost half the time on the sidelines. Thus, he hasn’t helped his club much.
In total, that makes a whopping thirteen injuries.
When Dembélé seems to be returning to the form he was in before his transfer, injuries always slow him down. Just like this time, when Dembélé has been plagued by left hamstring problems.
Dembélé’s woes at Barcelona are confirmed by the fact that his hamstring problems were announced less than two days after he returned from a four-month injury with his knee.
For Dembélé, the injury came at an inopportune time, as he is currently negotiating a contract extension with the club. If his problems prove to be more serious, it could break his neck in the negotiations.
