Although the results of the Ballon D’Or poll are not due to be officially announced until 29 November this year, documents have been leaked showing the final results. Who should win the Ballon d’Or and who should be ranked how?

The annual tradition continues this year. Once again, the alleged results of the Ballon D’Or poll have been leaked. Naturally, there are disputes on social media about the authenticity of the leaked documents. How do they think the poll should be ranked?

Among the big favourites to win should have been Robert Lewandowski, who is indeed in the first place of the leaked document. If the result is true, the Polish sharpshooter will win his first Ballon d’Or.

Lionel Messi is expected to follow him, while Cristiano Ronaldo had his work cut out for him to even make the top ten. The third place is rounded off by the Portuguese’s former Real Madrid teammate Karim Benzema.

The fourth position belongs to Mohamed Salah, the fifth is written on the list Jorginho. The following are Kylian Mbappé, N’Golo Kanté, Erling Haaland, the aforementioned Ronaldo and Kevin De Bruyne rounding out the top ten.

The top twenty then includes Gianluigi Donnarumma, Luka Modric, Giorgio Chiellini, Harry Kane, Bruno Fernandes, Ruben Dias, Romelu Lukaku, Pedri, Neymar and Riyad Mahrez.

Voting in the poll closed on 25 October, which is the date on the document. Will its authenticity be confirmed in a month’s time?
