Everton, who can get closer to the top 4, will welcome Watford, who would like to bounce back from the relegation zone, in the ninth round of the Premier League. Moreover, both teams need to win and atone for last week’s loss.

Everton are happy with their start to the season. After eight rounds it is only eighth, but only a point behind fourth place. Last weekend they lost 0:1 to West Ham and now they would like to make up for it.

Watford are slowly running out of gas after a decent start. In the last three rounds, they have just one point and have dropped to 16th in the table. There has also been a change in the coaching post, but even Claudio Ranieri opened his new engagement with a loss.

Abdoulaye Doucouré is having an excellent start to the season, the French midfielder has already scored two goals and assisted four times. The pair of reinforcements Andros Townsend, Demarai Gray are also performing unexpectedly above average.

Senegalese Ismaila Sarr is dragging the visitors back for the third year, scoring four times so far this season. Emmanuel Dennis has two goals and an assist, Slovakian Juraj Kucka is also doing well in his new engagement.

Everton boast a well-functioning defence, having conceded just two goals in their last three games, and that was playing Manchester United and West Ham. Moreover, Watford are not doing well in attack lately, scoring just two goals in their last four games.

Considering the form of both teams and the fact that Everton haven’t lost a point at home, I recommend a bet on the Caramels to win.
