Projections of a possible barrage for the 2022 World Cup! Will we get Scotland?
The current projection of possible barrage opponents looks more than interesting for the Czech national football team! A possible clash with Scotland is still on the table. The football public and the Czech national team would certainly like to beat the Scots, a match with the island nation would be very spicy, but also challenging.

It is important to mention that the barrage for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar will be played in a slightly different format than Czech fans are used to. A total of 12 teams will qualify for the barrage. Ten of them will squeak into the barrage through the second place in the qualifying group and will be complemented by the top two teams from the Nations League.
The barrage will then be divided into six “semi-final rounds”. The winners of the semi-finals will then face off in the final for the remaining 3 free tickets to the World Championship. It’s all played in a single match format.
Who can the Czechs get according to the current projection by analytics company We Global Football?
We currently have a high probability of starting the semi-final barrage match away. Possible opponents? Serbia, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden, Scotland or Croatia.
On the positive side, we have recent EURA experience with two opponents. It would be incredible to enjoy another victory at Hampden Park in Scotland, don’t you think?
