Csaplár sends a message to Soucek: Remember how many people were interested in you when you were downstairs. Go your own way

Tomáš Souček is the best Czech footballer. He has won this award for the second time in a row and is heading for a third. But now he is struggling with a slight drop in form, which is related to his fatigue. Experienced coach Josef Csaplár sends a message to the midfielder.
Soucek played all 38 games in the Premier League last season, 90 minutes each time. He also made three Cup appearances, adding 15 games for the national team. After a short three-week break, he has rejoined training with West Ham and is playing all but one cup game again.
However, there is a bit of fatigue on him, Soucek doesn’t look as fresh, he loses simple balls, it’s just not the same. However, this is only a short-term condition, the combative midfielder will surely return to his optimum form soon.
But many people don’t care, the national captain has earned a lot of criticism for his performances against Wales and Belarus. Fans seem to have forgotten that Soucek scored 10 goals last season in the best league in the world, something no Czech has managed. And he is a defensive midfielder.
Moreover, he never misses anything, even in the current visible congestion he came to the national team meeting and played 90 minutes twice. He certainly doesn’t deserve mocking criticism, which is what Josef Csaplár thinks.
“Let people talk and go your own way. You know best where you are and where you should be. Remember how many people were interested in you when you weren’t in the limelight, you were so called down. You had to climb up on your own, you can handle it now. The biggest mistake you could make would be to start digging in,” Csaplár tells Soucek in the Sport Glossary.
After his return to London, Soucek has a busy schedule ahead of him. On Sunday, October 17, West Ham play Everton, on Thursday the Europa League match with Genk and the week will be completed by the Hammers against Tottenham.
