Jaroslav Drobný, former Czech professional goalkeeper and player of German Hamburg and Werder Bremen, is returning to the neighbouring country after the end of his career. He will now be the goalkeeping coach of Bayern Munich’s reserve team.

Bayern Munich has a new signing from the Czech Republic. However, it is not a player, but a goalkeeping coach, who is now Jaroslav Drobný.

He comes to replace Walter Junghans as goalkeeper coach of the reserve team, who had to undergo a knee operation and is unable to pursue his profession.

Drobny returns to the country where he spent 13 years of his rich career. In Germany, he was first a guest at Bochum, then played three years for Hertha, six years for Hamburg and three years for Werder Bremen.

He also played two games for Fortuna Düsseldorf, but then left to train goalkeepers in České Budějovice, where he extended his career for two years.

He then played two seasons in Budějovice, in which he played 39 games.

In the summer, however, he switched from the position of a player to a coach. In his career outside Germany, he also played in Greece, England and the Netherlands.
