Martin Odegaard: It wasn’t easy to make friends at Real Madrid

Martin Odegaard spoke to the Spanish media about the difficult times at Real Madrid. Among other things, he said that it was not easy for him to make friends in the team.

Martin Odegaard switched jobs in the summer transfer window when he moved from Real Madrid to Arsenal.

With this transfer, the young Nor gained more match workload and definitely more confidence.

“I’ve had a difficult time here. But being close to the best has made me a better player. I think I have improved thanks to Real and I have learned a lot from players like Ramos and Cristiano,” Odegaard told Marca.

” When you’re at the highest level, it’s not easy to make friends. At least not for a young player who came from another country. I came from somewhere else and it was hard for me to fit in as a newcomer.”

“It was difficult, but it also made me stronger and I’m glad I could go through it. There is a big difference between Arsenal and Madrid. I’m happy to be at Arsenal, where there is a great cabin,” added Martin Odegaard.

Martin Odegaard has played five games in the current season and managed to score one goal. And it was an important goal, as it secured a 1:0 victory over Burnley.
