North London is red after the sixth round of the Premier League. Arsenal won the traditional North London Derby against Tottenham, their old rivals whom they beat by a class difference and recorded a 3-1 win.

The pace of the match was clearly orchestrated by the Arsenal players. From the opening whistle, they took the initiative into their own hands and almost did not give the opponent a chance. The Gunners were able to outshoot, outrun and outmuscle Tottenham.

Already in the 12th minute Emirates Stadium could rejoice when Saka played the ball in the opponent’s penalty area and with a pass on the ground found Smith Rowe on the edge of the small penalty area, who scored the first goal of the match.

A quarter of an hour passed and the Gunners fans could rejoice again. This time Smith Rowe was on the receiving end of a pass as he found Aubameyang who increased the score to 2: 0.

After 34 minutes, the score of the match was already 3: 0 when the brilliant Saka finally got through as well.

The second half started with Arsenal again. But as time went on, Tottenham players started to get chances. Increased activity finally brought them fruit, because they managed to at least reduce.

In particular, Son managed to get through, who took advantage of a pass from Reguilon. The goal was preceded by a collision between Xhaka and his opponent, after which the Arsenal midfielder had to withdraw.

Tottenham weren’t going to give up, but in Arsenal’s goal stood the flawless Ramsdale and in front of him a calm defence that didn’t allow the opponent another goal. Arsenal’s clear dominance in the first half was therefore enough to take all three points from the derby.

The big disappointment of the match was the captain of the English national team, Harry Kane. He failed to assert himself and has one goal from six league games played so far, which is a big unusual for him. Moreover, he has traditionally done well against Arsenal. Today, however, coach Arteta’s charges managed to keep this goal scorer safe.

Neither team was the favourite before the game, but Arsenal immediately took over the role. The red part of London can celebrate. Spurs fans, on the other hand, have no reason to celebrate at all.

However, they can improve their appetite on Thursday, when they play against Mura in the European Conference League. Arsenal have to wait until the weekend when they take on upstart Brighton on Saturday.
