Good luck in the Europa League! See how fans mock Barcelona
Barcelona is sinking lower and lower. And it may not be the end. After two losses and a 0-6 record, the Catalan club is in last place in its Champions League group and may just play in the Europa League, as its fans predict.
Barcelona is sinking lower and lower. And it may not be the end. After two losses and a 0:6 record, the Catalan club is in last place in its Champions League group and may just play in the Europa League, as its fans predict.
A 0:3 loss at home to Bayern, a 0:3 loss away to Benfica. That’s Barcelona’s record in this year’s Champions League. It’s no wonder the fans are enjoying the Catalan giant’s downfall.
“The biggest disasters of recent years. California 2020, Amazon 2020, Turkey 2021 and Barcelona 2021,” responded the Twitter profile of Troll Football.
Arsenal fans know all too well their club’s decline from glory. They can now offer Barcelona supporters a helping hand. “I come here to cry,” says a Gunners fan.
“If you ever think you’re not qualified for your dream job, remember that Ronald Koeman is the coach of Barcelona…”
Coach Ronald Koeman recently stated that Barcelona have a future because of him. The fan recalled that phrase, only adding that that future is in the Europa League.
As recently as Tuesday, Barcelona fans were laughing at Real Madrid for its loss to Sheriff. But on Wednesday, their own team stabbed them in the back.
Barcelona’s losses are often blamed on everything else by Ronald Koeman. The referees, the weather, the busy schedule. Even Barcelona fans are running out of patience. “Here I am waiting for Koeman to admit his mistake one day.”
But not everyone is unhappy with Ronald Koeman’s work. Real Madrid and Atlético fans, for example, hope the Dutch coach never leaves. “What do you prefer? One night with actress Ester Expósito or let Koeman work?”
