Haaland loves Real Madrid and everything that comes with playing for them, reveals Steve McManaman

Where will Erlinad Haaland go next year? That’s a question every football fan wants to know the answer to. Now, with an interesting insight has come former outstanding all-rounder Steve McManaman, who believes there is one favourite.

Whoever gets Haaland will have his goals taken care of for a few years. The Norwegian striker has incredible numbers that even Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo couldn’t match. That is why there is no club in the world that would not want to acquire this goal scoring machine.

This season proves it, as he has already scored 11 times in 8 games and assisted on 4 more goals. Yes, it’s true, Haaland scores a goal every 65 minutes.

These statistics are of course impressive for the former outstanding player, who spoke about the Norwegian chic in an interview with Horse Racing.

“Do I think Liverpool will struggle to get him next summer? No. I think he will go to Real Madrid because he personally likes the vision of the club, its style and everything that playing for it entails,” McManaman revealed.

The 49-year-old Liverpool native certainly knows what he is talking about, having played 158 games for the White Ballet, scoring 14 times and winning two Champions League titles with the Royal club in 1999/2000 and 2001/2002.

Obviously, the acquisition of Haaland will not be about a huge transfer sum like in the case of Neymar or Kylian Mbappe when he left for PSG, as the Norwegian player has a fixed amount that his new employer Borussia Dortmund will have to pay.

“I don’t think it will be Liverpool who will sign Haaland because it’s about a lot of other things when you sign a player of his calibre. He’s going to have a huge payday and all the other players would want the same money. Mino Raiola will also want a big commission and that’s why I don’t think Liverpool would go for it,” McManaman is clear.
