Patrik Kincl got a chance to fight for the title in the prestigious KSW organization, but lost to Croatian Soldic in the third round when the referee had to stop the fight. But we may well see a rematch, which could be in the Czech Republic!

KSW has been planning to plant one of the tournaments in the Czech Republic for some time now. Prior to Coronavirus, the organization had the O2 Arena booked, but plans had to be scrapped.

But the Polish organization would like to come to the Czech Republic after all, and why not with a fight that will draw people? That could be a rematch between Kinc and Soldic.

“If the pandemic allows it, you can expect us in the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic is one of the countries where I want to expand our brand. I know we are already very popular there, but we are known as one of the best MMA organizations and we want to show that live to the Czech audience as well,” said Martin Lewandowski, the founder of the organization, to Nova Sport.

With the arrival of KSW on Czech territory, the organization is expected to be strengthened by several Czech fighters who will attract the domestic audience.

“We are currently negotiating terms with two wrestlers. Just before the gala I had a meeting with one of the promoters and I told him that we want more Czech fighters. We’ll see,” Lewandowski added.

And what about Kincl himself? His contract in KSW is expiring, but will probably be extended. Lewandowski said he has at least 4-6 fights ahead of him.
