Juventus have to deal with Cristiano Ronaldo’s sudden departure to Manchester United, as the Italian club’s big attacking force left with the Portuguese. But it seems that Juventus have quickly found a replacement for the Portuguese striker and he will be back from Real Madrid.
According to Spanish newspaper Diario AS, Juventus are keen on Real Madrid’s Luka Jovic. And after the official announcement of Ronaldo’s arrival to Manchester United, Juventus representatives were supposed to start negotiations for the arrival of the 23-year-old striker.
Cristiano Ronaldo left for Manchester United just before the end of the transfer window. At first, it looked like he would move to Manchester City and it was already taken as a done deal.
However, Ronaldo ended up choosing the club where he spent six successful years, Manchester United. Red Devils fans would probably not forgive him for moving to their biggest rival.
So Ronaldo will wear the Manchester United jersey. Juventus would like to patch up the loss of Ronaldo with the arrival of Jovic. He is not happy at Real Madrid, moreover, he is still a very young player who has his whole career ahead of him.
Jovic has already shown that he can be a goalscoring striker at Frankfurt, where he scored 25 goals in two years, which is a great number considering his age.
However, Jovic is also scoring goals for the Serbian national team, so the Juventus management hopes that he will continue these performances in the Turin club’s jersey.
